Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd started her combat sports career at the age of 14. She studied kickboxing, boxing and wrestling before she made her first amateur appearance at WCFC in front of Jaimee Nievera. Ladd became more confident after her win, and she won three bouts in Ultimate Reno Combat. Her opponents were all defeated by the start of the round. Aspen returned to WCFC and defeated Leslie Rodriguez through a unanimous verdict. Aspen had already defeated Silvia Baeghian as well as Maddy Simmons, before taking on Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia defeated Aspen with a majority vote. It left a blemish on her record as an amateur. Ladd beat Roma Pawelek on Tuff n Uff to improve her amateur record to 8-1. Aspen made her professional debut in 2015, and was signed by Invicta FC to make her professional debut. At InvictaFC 11, she had her very first professional bout. Aspen dominated Ana Carolina Vidal, securing a 1st-round TKO. Invicta defeated her at bantamweight and prevailed via armbar submission during the second round. Aspen used superior wrestling to defeat McGill in the third round via TKO. Aspen then went on to fight Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 with a weight of 138.1lb. Ladd was not in a position to make it, however Aspen took the victory and defeated Hoy via TKO. Her final fight with Promotion, she fought Sijara Eubanks in a unanimous decision at Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd's UFC debut took place on UFC Fight Night 118 when she took on Lina Lansberg. She dominated Lina by using the ground and pound strategy, resulting in the TKO 2nd round win. In her next fight, she overcame Tonya Evinger with a more stunning victory. Ladd was able to defeat Evinger in the very first round and earned a reward for the performance of the night. Invicta FC's Sijara Ebanks was her opponent in the rematch that took place at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against Lee. It was the fighter's first big fight. The two fights were a close fight that Ladd was victorious by a majority decision. Both fighters were awarded an award called the Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd within 16 seconds of the fight which ended her winning streak. Yana Knitskaya was defeated in UFC 7 ESPN 7's final round, was defeated by Randamie. In a recent match replacement to UFC, Norma Dumont was her opponent. It was a unanimous decision against her.
